As a bridal makeup artist it is my job to make sure you feel 'a millions dollars' on your special day. It is so refreshing when discussing a desired makeup look, every bride is unique and this is enhanced through my work as an artist. My First Class Honours degree in Makeup Artistry will ensure you receive the highest quality service, products and experience.
Bridal makeup TRIAL procedure:
A bridal makeup trial allows us to discuss your desired makeup look for the big day! A trial can take up to 2 hours where we can try different high quality products and work out what suits you. I will share tips and tricks on how to keep your skin in tip top condition for the big day. A trial also allows us to see if your skin is allergic to any particular products. With the understanding of your style being paramount, an artist will ensure you receive the makeup look you've always dreamed of. Please visit my blog post for a more in-depth look on bridal trials.

Some frequently asked questions about our bridal makeup and trials
For a makeup trial I suggest having this done 3-6 months before the big day. When deciding on makeup it helps to know your hair and dress style. This also ensures I have recent notes and images of the look I created and the products used. If you discover any allergies to makeup/ skincare between the trial and wedding day please let me know.
Regarding hair styling anytime before is still fine, just bare in mind that the style you choose will be adapted to your hair length and thickness, so as long as your hair is the same length, or similar I will be able to create the same hairstyle on your wedding day.
I do not give a time limit to trials. We can discuss ideas, make alterations and try different techniques, my time is your time until you are happy with the outcome. They averagely take 1-2 hours for either makeup or hair styling per person, making it roughly 2-3 hours for both
Before the trial for those who aren't day to day makeup wearers and struggle for ideas for their makeup, try looking through bridal magazines or online picture blogs like pinterest or instagram, these will help you filter out your likes and dislikes. If you're finding it hard to search for images check out my pinterest bridal boards and instagram of bridal makeup in my photoshoots. There are also online bridal magazines, here are some I love to look at, links below:
Even having an idea of what you don't like will help me start somewhere! Remember, if you have a light skin tone and blue eyes, a Kim Kardashian look may not necessarily suit!
Anytime! I have trials up to 1 year in advance, the earlier, the better. Once a bridal party is confirmed timings will be discussed with the bride and any added stylists. I will ensure we provide you with enough time to relax, enjoy and have some pictures before the event!
Payment for trial is made on the day of the trial in either cash or cheque to prevent a delay in payment. A 50% deposit of the total amount booked for the day is required to secure your date (I cannot hold the date without this), the other 50% of the total balance is to be paid prior to or on the wedding day. Deposits are non-refundable, each payment can be paid via cash, cheque or bank transfer with and invoice.
There is no petrol charge for any weddings located within 10 miles of Aylesbury, after 10 miles there is a charge of 40p per mile. Added services are provided within the bridal packages provided. Any bridal party of 6+ people would require an assistant, adding £40 onto the total amount for the day.
My bridal kit consists of high end premium makeup brands such as: MAC, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Cover FX, Clinique, Lancome and Benefit Cosmetics.
